Novice Techno Dj, Help!?

so im trying to start off a new hobby/possible career. i want to Dj, to be more specific i want to be a techno dj not a radio or the djs that combine songs, at least for now. ok so question is what kind of equipment is good to start a small decent priced studio? im starting from the ground up so i know nothing at all about what i need to start off. i currently own a macbook pro but idk if thats what i need for a small beginner studio, please help
