Which is a better place to celebrate new years eve, Miami or Las Vegas?

I went to Vegas for MTV's spring break this year had a lot of fun but this is 2012 and I want to go somewhere that, new years eve is just crazy fun. Btw I live in NYC and nye is always over rated here. You pay an arm and a leg to get into a club that would get in for free the week before or week after. Then the djs aren't that great, and when they get someone good they stay for an hour and go somewhere else. Even all the celebs party in vegas or miami for nye. Also it doesn't feel like below zero in vegas or miami on nye I bet.
